These Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and SMS Messaging Terms govern your use of the websites, forms, programs, events, and communications of Church Jam, LLC and the Church Jam Foundation, Inc. Please read them. By using our sites or registering for our programs, you agree to them.
Two entities, one set of terms. Church Jam, LLC operates our events, merchandise, sponsorships, and commercial activity at churchjam.com. The Church Jam Foundation, Inc. is a separate nonprofit that receives charitable contributions and distributes them to schools, at churchjam.org. Where these terms say "Church Jam," "we," or "us," they refer to whichever entity is providing the service in question.
Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By accessing our websites, submitting a form, registering for a program, purchasing merchandise, making a donation, or otherwise engaging with Church Jam, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our sites or services.
2. Eligibility
Our basketball programs are open to participants 16 years of age or older. Participants under 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms and the Participation Terms on the participant's behalf.
To purchase merchandise, make a donation, or enter into any agreement with us, you must be 18 or older, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Our services
Church Jam provides:
- A free weekly basketball fellowship and discipleship gathering;
- Basketball tournaments and related events;
- Game film and related media;
- Merchandise and sponsorship opportunities;
- Charitable fundraising and distribution to schools through the Church Jam Foundation.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time. Program schedules, locations, formats, and rules are subject to change; we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered participants of changes.
4. Registration and your information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when you register, and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for the accuracy of any information submitted on behalf of a minor.
We may refuse, suspend, or terminate any registration at our discretion, including for inaccurate information, violation of our Code of Conduct, or conduct that endangers others.
5. Participation Terms, waiver and release
Participation in any Church Jam basketball activity is additionally governed by our Participation Terms, Release, Medical Authorization and Media Consent, which are presented and accepted during registration. Those terms include an assumption of risk, a release of liability, an indemnification obligation, and a medical authorization. They are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
6. Payments, donations and refunds
Weekly fellowship participation is free. Tournament entry fees, merchandise, film access, sponsorships, and donations are paid through third-party processors; your use of those services is subject to their terms.
Entry fees. Team entry fees are charitable contributions passed through in full to the receiving school or schools. Entry fees are non-refundable once the bracket has been set, except where an event is cancelled by Church Jam and not rescheduled.
Donations. Donations to the Church Jam Foundation are non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us within 30 days and we will review it in good faith.
Merchandise. Unworn, unwashed merchandise may be returned within 30 days of receipt. Custom and personalized items are final sale.
Tax deductibility. Charitable contributions to the Church Jam Foundation may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Payments to Church Jam, LLC — including merchandise, film access, gate admission, and sponsorships that carry advertising value — are generally not charitable contributions. Consult your tax advisor. We do not provide tax advice.
7. Media and game film
We photograph, film, and record our events. By attending, you acknowledge that you may be captured in event media. Registered participants provide or decline media consent through a separate, optional checkbox at registration.
Game film is provided for personal use. You may share and use your own film freely. You may not resell it, or use Church Jam media commercially, without our written permission.
8. Intellectual property
The Church Jam name, logo, wordmark, brand elements, site design, copy, and media are owned by Church Jam, LLC and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from them, or use them to imply sponsorship or endorsement, without our prior written permission.
Content you submit to us — including photos, video, testimonials, and messages — grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display it in connection with our ministry and promotion. You represent that you have the right to grant that license.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use our sites or services unlawfully, or to harass, threaten, defame, or endanger anyone;
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including registering another person without authority;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or interfere with their operation;
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data about other users;
- Use our marks or content in a way that suggests affiliation or endorsement we have not given.
10. Third-party links and services
Our sites link to and rely on third-party services, including payment processors, form and CRM platforms, and hosting providers. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, practices, or availability. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Disclaimers
Our sites and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that our sites will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content is accurate or complete.
Basketball involves inherent risk of serious injury. Nothing on our sites is medical advice. Consult a physician before participating in physical activity.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Church Jam, LLC, the Church Jam Foundation, Inc., and their officers, directors, trustees, employees, volunteers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of our sites or services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to our sites or services will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, the limitations apply to the greatest extent permitted.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Church Jam, LLC, the Church Jam Foundation, Inc., and their officers, directors, trustees, employees, volunteers, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of our sites or services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any right of a third party.
14. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any action arising out of these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or superior courts of [COUNTY] County, Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
15. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed, and the remaining provisions continue in full force. These Terms, together with the Participation Terms and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Church Jam regarding their subject matter.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version in effect on the date of your use governs. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and version number, and where the change affects registration, we will require re-acceptance.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Church Jam collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. How we use it
- To register you, run our programs, and manage rosters and attendance;

- To process payments, donations, and sponsorships;
- To maintain records of consent and releases as required for legal and insurance purposes;
- To improve our sites, programs, and communications.
3. How we share it
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers who operate our forms, CRM, messaging, payments, hosting, and film delivery, and only to perform those services for us;
- Medical personnel, in an emergency;
- Host facilities and insurers, where required by a facility agreement or an insurance claim;
- Authorities, where required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of any person.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our sites, remember preferences, and understand how our pages are used. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work. We may use analytics and advertising platforms that set their own cookies; their use of information is governed by their policies.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described here and to meet legal, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations.
Waiver and consent records are retained long-term. Where a participant registered as a minor, the applicable limitation period may not begin until they reach 18, so those records are retained accordingly.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
Our programs serve participants 16 and older. Our sites are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Registration for a participant under 18 must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Your choices and rights
- Email: unsubscribe using the link in any email;
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message;
- Media: decline or withdraw media consent by contacting us;
- Access, correction, deletion: request a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will honor deletion requests except where we must retain records for legal, insurance, or safety reasons — waiver and consent records in particular.

9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and version number.
SMS Messaging Terms
These terms govern text messages sent by Church Jam, LLC.
1. Programs
We operate two separate messaging programs. Consent to one is never consent to the other, and neither is required to participate in any Church Jam activity or to make any purchase.

2. How you opt in

3. Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard rates apply to all messages sent and received.
4. Opting out and help
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from that program. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages from that program. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at [email protected] or [PHONE].
5. Supported carriers and delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is outside our control.
6. Privacy
Information collected through our messaging programs is handled under the Privacy Policy above. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
